Terms of Use
The rules for using BiteHopper to find food trucks and order ahead. Vendors also agree to the Vendor Terms.
Effective November 1, 2026. Last updated October 19, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and iProMentor LLC, which operates BiteHopper. By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using our websites and apps (the “Services”), you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
What BiteHopper is
BiteHopper is a marketplace. It helps you find independent food trucks, trailers, carts and pop-up kitchens (“vendors”) and order from them ahead of time for pickup. Vendors are independent businesses, not BiteHopper employees or agents. Each vendor prepares and sells its own food and is responsible for it, including ingredients, allergens, quality, safety and its permits. BiteHopper does not prepare, handle or deliver food.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use BiteHopper. To pay, you must be 18 or use a payment method with permission from its owner.
- Keep your sign-in details secure and your information accurate. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- One person, one account. Don’t share or sell accounts.
Orders and payment
- Prices are set by each vendor. Sales tax is added at checkout. BiteHopper charges customers no platform or service fees.
- Your card is authorized when you check out, which places a temporary hold. You are charged only when the vendor accepts your order. If the vendor declines it, or doesn’t accept it within 5 minutes, the hold is released and you are not charged. Your bank decides how fast a released hold disappears from your statement.
- The vendor is the seller. Payments go to the vendor’s own Stripe or Square account, and the charge on your statement may show the vendor’s name.
- Tips are optional and go entirely to the vendor.
- Pickup times are estimates. Vendors may run late, sell out or change locations. We’ll tell you about changes as soon as the vendor does.
- Allergies: menu details come from vendors. Food trucks work in small kitchens, so cross-contact can happen. If you have an allergy, check with the vendor before you eat.
Pickup
BiteHopper is for pickup only. Collect your order from the vendor’s window at the pickup time. Orders not picked up are not refunded, unless the vendor or BiteHopper decides otherwise.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel at no charge until the vendor accepts your order.
- After the vendor accepts, the food is being made for you, so cancellation is up to the vendor.
- If something is wrong or missing, tell us in the app or at hello@bitehopper.com within 24 hours. Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
- If a vendor closes early or can’t complete an accepted order, you receive a full refund.
Promotions, codes and loyalty
Promo codes, offers and loyalty stamps have no cash value, can’t be sold or transferred, and are subject to the terms shown with them. Some offers work only at certain vendors. We may cancel codes or stamps that were obtained by fraud, abuse or error, and we may end a program with reasonable notice.
Reviews and content you share
Reviews, photos and other content you post must be honest, based on your own experience and lawful. Don’t post anything abusive, hateful, misleading, spammy or that violates someone else’s rights. You keep ownership of your content, and you give BiteHopper a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display and adapt it to run and promote the Services. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- place fake orders, or abuse refunds, codes or loyalty programs;
- harass vendors, their staff or other users;
- scrape, copy or resell the Services or their content, or interfere with how they work;
- use the Services for anything illegal.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our content
The BiteHopper name, logo, apps and website content belong to iProMentor LLC or its licensors. You may use the Services only as these terms allow.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep locations, hours and menus accurate, but vendors supply that information and it can change. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for the food vendors sell or for how vendors act.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BiteHopper is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the order the claim is about or $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law, and that leads to a claim against BiteHopper, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.
Disputes
Please contact us first at hello@bitehopper.com. Most problems can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
Changes and ending these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using BiteHopper and delete your account at any time.
